Overview - Key features
DiskScout is a hard disk space tracking utility that will help you to find out which folders are growing over time thus telling you when and where your disk space has disappeared.
DiskScout shows you the historical development for the following data:
· Changes of folder-sizes on your disk
·
Current Size of folders on your disk· Changes in number of files per folder
·
Current number of files per folder·
used\allocated space of folders on your disk (Cluster aligned)·
wasted disk space due to cluster alignment
Currently there are 3 versions planned: Home, Professional, Enterprise
The Home edition is suitable for a single PC Home user and supports scan of local disks only.
The Pro edition is suitable for networks\workgroups and sophisticated tasks like scheduled scans, alerting, credentials, export to HTML, Printing etc.
The Enterprise edition is suitable for enterprise networks with domain structure and
central Administration.
Central SQL-Server database and use of
MMC will be included.
